OPERATION AND WORKING OF SONIC DRILLING
At first, the core barrel is advanced to the depth of the targeted area. The sonic drill liquefies the soil or rock (based on the project) using its high frequency and vibrations. Then the core barrel is overridden with a casing so that the desired sample is untouched by the external factors.
Once the casing reaches the depth of the core barrel, then it is removed, and the sample is collected. Sonic drilling is effective in most ground conditions.
